Colocation houses your valuable equipment within our serviced office in Melbourne.
Because CoLo access is designed for applications such as commercial Web sites, portals and Intranet sites, it’s ideal for larger clients, e-commerce businesses, content owners and ISPs.

Before you decide to colocate a server you will need to know:
1. How many RU you require,
2. Whether you require additional features such as backup, server monitoring, secondary MX, Multiple IP addresses, AV scanning and server maintenance

All customers receive the following:
• Direct Internet connection (99% uptime – ISP) (Current speed 512/512K)
• Free traffic to other machines colocated with us
• 1/2 hour of free support per month per contract
• No Data Limit: At this stage there is no charge for inbound or outbound data. (subject to our acceptable use policy)
• One Live Static IP Address
• Secure facility for your server, which goes into a locked cabinet with UPS backed power supply.
• Your server hardware is covered by our insurance whilst in our care.

Costs

The following prices apply to all equipment colocated with us.

Rack Space
• 1RU: $80 per month, $80 setup
• 2RU: $150 per month, $150 setup
• 3RU: $210 per month, $210 setup
• 4RU: $270 per month, $270 setup
• Additional RU available on request

Installation and setup costs
A one-off installation and setup fee is charged, equivalent to the monthly charge for the number of RU being allocated. Discounts on the setup fee apply for long term contracts.

Support Cost
Chargeable time is accounted and billed at the end of each billing cycle.
• $100.00 / hour during our usual business hours
• $180.00 / hour otherwise

We can monitor your server, sending you an email notification when it goes offline, or a service on it fails. We can monitor your servers in our facility, or servers elsewhere in the world.

Server Monitoring Services Monitored • Server reachability (PING) • Web server (HTTP) • DNS server (DNS) • e-mail server (SMTP, IMAP and POP3) • Others, upon request.	Monthly Pricing • $5 per server, plus $1 per service.
Secondary MX A Secondary MX (backup email server), will help ensure that you do not lose mail due to temporary network outages or server issues. Monthly Pricing • $10.00
Multiple IP Addresses • One IP: Free • Additional IPs: Once-off $15 charge per request for IP address(es).
Server Backup A data backup service is available to reduce the risk of data loss due to software, hardware failure, fire or theft. • Daily • Weekly • Monthly	Monthly Pricing (per server) • Daily: $50.00 • Weekly: $30.00 • Monthly: $20.00 A monthly DVD backup of your most critical data can be sent to you for only $30 per month. (includes 1 DVD, if additional media is required they will be billed at cost)
AV File Scanning Anti-Virus file scanning is available to reduce the risk of data loss due to virus attack. (This in no way should replace the need for local AV software on workstations)	Monthly Pricing (per server) • $15.00
Server Maintenance Server maintenance is available to ensure potential issues are detected and resolved before they become a problem. Some of the services include: 1. TESTING OF MS PATCHES BEFORE THEY ARE APPLIED 2. APPLYING MS PATCHES 3. CHECK SERVER ERROR & EVENT LOGS 4. CHECK RAID ARRAY & HDD MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS 5. CHECK SERVER TEMPERATURE CONTROL & FAN SPEED 6. CHECK SECURITY LOGS FOR UNAUTHORISED ACCESS 7. CHECK BACKUP EVENT LOGS 8. TRUNCATE UNNECCESSARY CATALOGUES 9. CHECK ADMINISTRATOR MAILBOX TO ADDRESS ISSUES 10. CHECK BAD MAIL AND FAILED MAIL FOLDERS This service is not meant to be used for software upgrades, new software installs or hardware upgrades.	Monthly Pricing (per server) • $50.00

Contract Conditions

• Early cancellation will incur a penalty of 50% of the contract price less previous payments for the contract period.
• Late payment will, at our discretion, incur a $15.00 accounting fee.
• Credit card payments are encouraged. No additional fees apply.
